* The house, located on Grecheskaya Street, was built by the first head of Taganrog, Tikhon Tsysarenko, in 1810. Since the end of the 19th century, the building housed the City Council and the City Bank. And in 1976, the city library was opened here, which was often visited by Anton Pavlovich Chekhov and the historian. Pavel Petrovich Filevsky. The house is built in the classical style and is represented by a two-story stone building on a high basement, with a balcony located on the rounded corner of the building. The Tsysarenko House is protected by law as an object of cultural heritage, as it has historical significance.
