Description
* The monument was founded on April 1, 2006, and is a genre urban sculpture. It consists of two parts, the first is the photographer's figure, the second is a round frame with large ears in which you can put your face. "Permyak salty ears" is what the inhabitants of the Perm lands are traditionally called. Legend has it that this name is associated with the salt industry widespread in the region. This nickname was given to workers who carried bags of salt on their shoulders, because of this their ears were soaked with salt, they turned red and enlarged. In 2009, the Russian World magazine recognized the monument as the "strangest" monument in Russia.
