Residential house of H.K. Sagirov
Detailed description
At the end of the 19th century, the mansion was built for the family of the grain merchant H.K.However, the building was leased by B.A. Kamerstein. He opened the Eldorado cinema here, which became one of the first in the city. When the Soviets came to power, the building was taken away from private owners, and the cinema was renamed first in honor of the 3rd International, and then the Casino. In the late 1920s, the cinema was named Spartak.
After the end of the war, Sagirov's mansion was partially destroyed and lost its exquisite decorations, including the portal. By the anniversary of the city in 1999, the mansion was restored to its former grandeur and originality. The building has a one-and-a-half-story structure, and its stylistic design combines elements of classicism and Baroque. The sides of the building are highlighted with triangular pediments, and the central facade consists of five rectangular windows with decorative architraves. The cornice on the upper part of the facade was previously decorated with stucco vases.
