The mansion of S.N. Sagirov
Detailed description
The mansion was built in the 1890s. The building is a one-and-a-half-story building, combining elements of classicism and Baroque. Another mansion adjoins the house in one of the parts.
The design of the Sagirov house combines elements of classicism and Baroque. There are side rafters complemented by triangular pediments. In the central part of the facade there are five rectangular windows decorated with decorative architraves. The facade ends with a cornice, which used to house decorative stucco vases. Initially, the lobby and the main hall were located in the southern part, and the living room and bedrooms were located in the northern part. There are utility rooms in the basement. The main hall was visually divided by pylons, one pair of which was decorated with caryatids and the other with atlases. The walls were decorated with cornices and decorative friezes, and three stucco ceiling lights were placed on the ceiling. After the war, the building lost the canopy over the entrance and half of the stucco decoration.
