Detailed description

The dam and the Mariinsky Hammer Plant on the Revda River are cultural heritage sites of the Sverdlovsk region. The first dam was built on this site in 1783, and in 1840 the Mariinsky Ironworks was founded. At that time, there were 74 courtyards and 195 male souls in the factory settlement. The factory dam with a 6-lock trigger had a length of about 319 m. In 1918, the factory was nationalized and then destroyed, but the dam has been perfectly preserved to this day.
