Detailed description

The building was erected in 1883. It was one of the first steam mills in Samara, which changed owners several times until 1910, when it was acquired by the city from the then owner, M.P. Shakhov, to accommodate military units. The barracks were named "Shakhovskiye". The 102nd Reserve Infantry Regiment was located here. After the February Revolution, the future Soviet Marshal Vasily Blukh served here.
