Detailed description
The stone church with five chapters in the Russian patterned style has a bell tower, which adjoins the north-western corner of the refectory. The church was originally made of wood and appeared at the beginning of the 17th century. However, in 1692 the building was rebuilt from stone with the addition of the Leontievsky chapel. In 1760, the Leontievsky chapel was moved to the refectory. In 1858, the right Leontievsky chapel was moved to the left side, and the refectory was expanded on the right to install the Iversky chapel. In 1932, the church was closed and used as a warehouse. In the 1970s, its exterior was restored. In 1990, the believers were given back the right to use the church. On October 19, 1990, the Iversky chapel was consecrated. On April 7, 1992, the main altar was consecrated, and on February 8, 1995, the baptismal church of the Icon of the Mother of God Assuaged My Sorrows in the basement.
