Underground pedestrian crossing with mosaic story compositions

The underpass on Bolshaya Sadovaya Street is one of the central ones. Its mosaic decoration was carried out under the auspices of the "Year of the Child" during 1979. The panel depicts various scenes from the life of Soviet children: from birth to graduation. The mosaic was hand-carved from Czech-made facing tiles. The design team consisted of seven people.
