The apartment house of G.I. Rodopoulos
Detailed description
The house of the famous Greek merchant G.I. Rodopoulos was built in 1910, combining several styles of architecture. Its distinctive feature was the "Italian balconies", which were created based on the Renaissance. As soon as the house was built, it immediately began to generate income for the owner. A.G. Guderman worked in this place. An interesting fact is that the house has kept its secrets since the time of Dmitry Donskoy. There were many underground tunnels and corridors on the territory of the Donskoy fortress. One of them was located under the house of Rodopoulos.
