The building of the Nakhichevan City Theater

The building of the Nakhichevan City Theater was built in 1899. The building of the Rostov Regional Academic Youth Theater is a mixture of styles: Baroque, Renaissance and classicism. The building is a complex structure in terms of a triangular pediment supported by four columns of the Corinthian order composition. The windows on both floors have semicircular ends. The side risalite is decorated with stucco and balusters. The theater foyer, curtain and decorations were painted by the artist I. I. Krylov. In 1983, the building area increased due to renovation work. The rooms of the small and experimental stages were added.
