Mansion-office and library building of the sawmill production of F.Ya. and N.Ya. Kolobov
Detailed description
The house with the Kolobov sawmill office was built in 1900 by the Kolobov brothers, wealthy timber merchants. The building is a three-storey mansion with romantic turrets. The management of the sawmill was located on the ground floor, and the private apartment is located on the second floor, which could be accessed by climbing the main staircase from the lobby. In 1965, the building was used by the Bureau of Forestry, Pulp and Paper and Woodworking Industries, and then leased to various companies. Currently, the house is included in the list of cultural monuments of regional importance.
