Shopping malls

In the 18th century, an old cemetery was located on this site, consisting of wooden and stone shops, warehouses. In the 1770s, the territory of the cemetery was cleared for the construction of shopping malls with arcades and 111 shops. During the war in 1941, most of the shopping malls were destroyed, and a park named after S.M. Kirov was opened in their place. At the moment, 5 buildings of shopping malls have been preserved, they were built in the second half of the 19th century, due to frequent alterations, the interior layout is very different from the original one.
