The Square Tower

The rectangular Tower is part of the Tula Kremlin, built between 1514 and 1520.The round-shaped tower is located on the north side of the Kremlin. It is located near the Upe River, so it is called Angled to the river. Its second name is Ugolnaya opposite Myasny Ryad or Myasnitskaya. Previously, there were commercial butcher shops near the tower. Previously, the tower housed a commercial warehouse.
