Detailed description
The mansion of actress Margarita Nikitichna Chernova was built in 1899, designed by the famous Russian architect Nikolai Alexandrovich Doroshenko. The house in the IXX - XX centuries became famous for its lavish receptions, balls, the arrival of famous guests, popular singers and musicians. In 1903, singer Fyodor Chaliapin was invited, and in the summer of 1920 Gumilev Nikolai Stepanovich read his poems.
Currently, the house is partially residential, fifteen apartments are occupied, and the ground floor is used by various organizations. It has the status of a cultural heritage site of regional significance.
