The apartment house of P.D. Mukhin, in which there were private Jewish educational institutions
Detailed description
The house was built in 1859, the building at one time housed a girls' gymnasium, where there were junior and middle groups, then the building was reconstructed, it changed its appearance not during the war, but thanks to the reconstruction builders. Reinforced concrete was very fashionable, so a cast-iron staircase was made in the building. The gymnasium taught Hebrew, hence the name of the house, but Hebrew was not the only language taught there.
