I.A. Rittenberg's apartment house

Shahumyan St. is one of the oldest streets in the city. Once upon a time, wealthy residents of Rostov built their houses here. The house at 94 Shahumyan Street was built at the end of the 19th century for I.A. Rittenberg, the chief physician of the Jewish Hospital. The family lived on one floor, the rest of the apartments were rented out. The house is very well preserved.
