Detailed description
In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the first Central Electric Power Station of Southern Russia was located on the territory of the Don Cossack State Institute of Food Technology and Business. It was founded in 1895 and the participants in the joint venture were representatives of the Kingdom of Belgium and the Central Electric Company in Moscow. Initially, the energy company operated on expensive imported English coal and had a monopoly on the electricity market. Now this building houses a cheese factory and a bar "Hands up".
