Trading house Ivan Tarasov with his sons
Detailed description
The building was built in the late 19th century. The brick decor, typical of eclecticism, is used in its design. The symmetry of the facade is emphasized by the main entrance and two extreme entrances to the ground floor. The front paneled door, decorated with carved linings, has also been preserved. Balconies and ground–floor entrance panels have been replaced, an arched canopy has been installed above one, and the roof fence has been lost. The building is L-shaped in plan, three-storeyed with a basement and a multi-pitched roof, brick, with brick decoration on the facade, whitewashed. A monument of civil architecture of the late 19th century, it reflects the stylistic diversity of buildings in the historical center of Rostov.
