P.I. Kramer's apartment house
Detailed description
This building was built in the early 20th century by the famous Rostov philanthropist P. I. Kramer, who was a well-known art collector. The house adjacent to Kramer's mansion was built in 1900. Kramer's mansion was nationalized. Since the 1920s, it has been under the jurisdiction of the district health department. After the Great Patriotic War, the mansion housed a medical facility. The building has been renovated several times. The mansion is located at the back of the plot, has a U-shaped layout, the facade is made in the neoclassical style. The new "wings" are located on the sides opposite each other. The walls of the mansion are rusticated. Plaster rods, balusters and garlands were installed on the facade. Reception rooms and living rooms were originally located in the center of the estate. There were offices and work areas on the sides.
