House of I.N. Zvorykin
Detailed description
The building was built in 1914 by architect Vasily Popov. The three-storey house is located on the corner of the block, and the front door faces Pushkinskaya and Semashko streets. The house is built in the Art Nouveau style with Gothic elements. The uniform style of the facade is determined by the shape of the window openings, bay windows and slats. Among the Gothic elements of the building's design are three—quarter columns. Above the windows of the first floor there are friezes with decorative kokoshniks. The facade of the building is covered with an attic with pointed niches. The main entrance is made in the form of a pointed arch. The corners of the building are surrounded by two-story balconies and topped with domed turrets.
