E.A. Krasilnikova's mansion

The building built by Egor Krasilnikov in Rostov-on-Don during the time of eclecticism is a building of the late 19th century. The merchant Yegoriy Krasilnikov lived in this house. It was included in the list of cultural heritage monuments of regional importance. And it was in this house that balls and receptions were often held. At the entrance there was a small reception hall with two windows facing Sofiyevskaya Street. There was a gallery with a balustrade where musicians played. On the ground floor there was a basement in which there were utility rooms: kitchen, laundry and servants' quarters. The palace, the carriage house, and the ice house were in the courtyard.
