The first steam flour mill

The first steam-powered flour mill was built from 1860 to 1884, and the first owner and creator of the structure was landowner A.A. Shishkov. In 1910, the building became the property of the city. The room was converted into barracks. The 102nd Infantry Regiment was located in the former mill. Today, the building is a five-story rectangular structure. It is made in brick style. The unpainted walls have a two-color paint. The first and second floors were decorated with masonry in the form of a wooden rust. The second and third floors are separated by a cornice with dentils. Windows with arched lintels and architraves. The facade has a vertical division of pilasters. The cornice on the upper floors was made with brackets.
