The mansion of F. N. Solodov

In the nineteenth century, architect Nikolai Alexandrovich Doroshenko undertook to design a building. This is how the house of the owner of the flour mill, N.F. Solodov, was built. The building is now included in the list of cultural heritage monuments. In the 1880s, the building was enlarged by adding a two-story wing. The house of education workers was located in the building. Today there is a museum in the building. The former house of N.F. Solodov was built in the eclectic style. The window openings were decorated with mats, the bottom with sockets. The two-storey building was made with a basement. The roof of the building is completed by a pair of tents with four sides. The parapet is made with an openwork metal fence. Among the decorations there are platbands, mascaras, brackets, keystones.
