The building of the Board of the Volga-Kama Bank
Detailed description
The building was built in 1910 in the Art Nouveau style by the Kharkov architect A.N. Beketov. The layout of the facade is dominated by the grand staircase hall, which unites the lobby on the ground floor with the operating unit and its offices on the two upper floors. The layout of the lower floor resembles a cloister. The facade decor contains ordered elements, but they follow the principles of stylization. The decor of the main entrance tries to attract the attention of the audience in a majestic way.
