The building of the bathhouse of the brothers F.M. and M.M. Dutikov

The building was built in the 1870s. However, it has been used as a sauna for almost 100 years. It is a two-storey brick building with a basement. Located in the center of Rostov, at the end of the 19th century there were about 10 large baths in Rostov. The bathhouse of the Dutikov family was one of them. In 1894, the merchant Stepanenko bought the house and set up a paid public bath in it, in 1899 it was acquired by the M. F. Dutikov trading house. Extensive repairs were carried out, the technical attic floor was added, the courtyard became a lighted hall, the floor was redone, modern water supply, heating and lighting systems were installed.
