Detailed description
The I. M. Shaposhnikov apartment building was built in the late 19th century in the neo-Renaissance style. It is a three-storey, U-shaped building with attics over the southern part of the house. The facade is decorated with arcade motifs with vertical divisions and numerous decorations: rosettes, plant inserts, ornaments, decorative columns. Various shops were located on the ground floor of the building, and residential premises were located on the second floor. In 1914, a private art school was opened on the second floor of the building by the artist Andrey Chinenov.
