Residential building of P.G. Portugalov
Detailed description
P.G. Portugalov's apartment building was built at the end of the 19th century. The facade is decorated with brick and plaster-stone decors typical of the folk architecture of the Don Region. The architectural and artistic appearance of the building is determined by the framing of the window openings of the upper floor with patterned architraves and gilded sandriks. The building is rectangular, two-storeyed in plan, with a basement and a four-pitched roof. A vivid example of the background development of the late 19th century
