Since October 2017, all owners of quadrocopters and other unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) are required to register their devices with the National Television and Radio Commission of Thailand (NBTC). An extra local tax may be charged per room per night (pay at the hotel front desk). From Dec. 31-Jan. 1, a mandatory New Year's dinner fee may be charged (subject to the hotel). Please note that the resort fee, mandatory New Year's dinner fee and other taxes are not included in the total room rate.
