* Mount Ararat (5,165 m) is located on the territory of Eastern Turkey, almost on the border with Armenia. Ararat is a giant extinct volcano that erupted less than two hundred years ago. This mountain is great for those who want to make their first ascent in life. On the mountain you will feel the local hospitality. Base camps for climbing will be set up by local residents, experienced chefs will always cook for you, and hot Turkish tea will always be waiting for you in cozy tents. The entire ascent will take place light with small backpacks, where only the most necessary things will be stored. All the time you will be accompanied by horses that will carry the rest of the things. Russians do not need a visa to Turkey. day 01

The beginning of the adventure

Type of accommodation:Hotel

Meeting of the participants at the Igdir airport. Transfer in a comfortable minibus to the city of Dogubayazit, from where Mount Ararat is only 25 kilometers away. After checking into the hotel, we will celebrate the beginning of the trip in a Turkish restaurant. In the evening we will discuss the upcoming trip and get to know each other. Overnight at the hotel.

day 02

Base camp

Type of accommodation:Tent

After breakfast at the hotel, we take a minibus to the village of Eli, located at an altitude of 2200 meters. We are unloading our belongings onto horses that will carry them to the base camp. We will go after them light with small backpacks. The base camp is located at an altitude of 3,200 meters, the journey to it will take about four hours. It consists of large group tents where we will eat and rest after going out, and double tents for sleeping. In the evening, we will have a hot dinner and a well-deserved rest. Overnight in a tent.

day 03

Acclimatization output

Type of accommodation:Tent

After a hearty breakfast, we will go on an acclimatization hike to an altitude of 4,200 meters. This is necessary in order for your body to prepare for being at high altitude. The hike will take all day. We will have lunch at an altitude of 4,200 meters and return to the base camp in the evening. A hot dinner. Overnight in a tent

day 04

High-altitude camp

Type of accommodation:Tent

After breakfast, we go up to the new camp, located at an altitude of 3800 meters. During an early dinner, we will discuss tomorrow and check the climbing equipment. Overnight in a tent.

day 05

Climbing

Type of accommodation:Tent

The most important day of our adventure. Early rise. After breakfast we go to the top. The ascent usually takes 6-7 hours. At the top we take pictures and admire the views. We go down to the high-altitude camp, where lunch is already waiting for us. After a short rest with light backpacks, we descend to the base camp at an altitude of 3200 meters. A festive dinner. Overnight in a tent.

day 06

Spare day

Type of accommodation:Tent

In order to have maximum chances for a successful ascent of Ararat, we left the day in case of bad weather or rest of the participants before the assault.

day 07

Cultural program

Type of accommodation:Hotel

After breakfast, we go down to the village of Eli, from where we will return to Dogubayazit. After lunch and check-in at the hotel, we will have a guided tour of the sights of the region. We will visit the remains of the fortress of the IV century and the majestic Ishaq Pasha Palace, built in the XVIII century. It is this fortress that has repeatedly become a battlefield between Russia and Turkey in the past. We will finish the day with a visit to the Turkish bath, and return to the hotel in the evening. Overnight at the hotel.

Transfer to the airport

After breakfast at the hotel, we will move to the airport of Igdir, from where our journey began.
