Spaso-Preobrazhensky Cathedral
Detailed description
The Transfiguration Cathedral is an Orthodox church under construction in Vladivostok, which will eventually become the cathedral of the Vladivostok Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church. The cathedral will become the largest church in Primorsky Krai and will accommodate about two thousand parishioners.
As of April 2022, the following works are underway: plastering, plastering and painting the walls, arches and sails of the cathedral; finishing the chamfers of the walls and columns with natural stone; laying marble on the floor of the cathedral; laying the walls of the choir room; installation of weak electrical equipment and lighting; fencing of the roof in use in the stylobate part of the cathedral.
As of January 2023, finishing works are underway on the stairs leading to the bell tower and the marble decoration of the entrance.
