Suburgan
Detailed description
The northern subdurgan of Kyzyly was erected in honor of the next birthday of the Dalai Lama XIV. It was opened in November 2005. The suburgan in Buddhism is a sacred relic. In the capital of Tuva, Kyzyl, the second of four suburgans has been opened, designed to protect the city from harm from four sides. Due to the deterioration of the criminal situation, Buddhist priests are confident that such protection is necessary for local residents. The suburgan is a pyramidal structure made of stone. There are valuable relics, camel wool, and prayer gems in the suburgan.
