* Karlovy Vary is a famous European resort, a place of pilgrimage for aristocrats from all over Europe, famous for its hot mineral springs, medicinal liqueur "Becherovka", porcelain and crystal. Peter I, Maria Theresa, Franz Joseph I and other members of the imperial and royal houses visited here. Such celebrities as Goethe, Schiller, Casanova, Karl Marx and Prince Metternich were treated in Karlovy Vary. The streets of the city saw the composers Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin, Liszt, Grieg and Brahms, Bach and Strauss.
During a two—hour walking tour of the city center, tourists will see the most famous of the Karlovy Vary springs - the majestic Geyser (Vřídlo), the Mill and Market Colonnades, the theater building, luxury resorts and hotels, including the stylish Thermal Hotel, where the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival is held annually. After a guided walk, tourists will be given free time.
A bonus for beer lovers. On the way to Karlovy Vary, the group makes a stop at the Krusovice brewery, one of the most famous breweries in the Czech Republic.
