Detailed description
The building was built in 1907-1909 according to the design of two architects - Nikolai Nikolaevich Verevkin and Marian Marianovich Peretyatkovich. The building was originally built as an apartment building. The apartment building belonged to the Salamandra insurance company. Today, the building houses the Consulate General of Romania in St. Petersburg. The facade of the building is laconic, the ground floor has large storefronts.
