* The monument was erected in memory of the heroic feat of St. Petersburg residents during the Great Patriotic War. It is located on Victory Square, exactly in the place where the front road passed in those years. A node of resistance to the enemy was created here, which included pillboxes and steel hedgehogs, as well as various anti-tank barriers and guns. The monument to the heroic defenders of Leningrad includes two parts: ground compositions and an underground memorial hall.
