* The temple is located on the territory of the Patriot Park. It was built in honor of the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. It is a majestic building made of iron and concrete. The facades are finished with copper plates. The steps of the temple are cast from metal made from Nazi weapons and equipment that were found at the battlefields. Interestingly, the dome of the cathedral is represented in the form of the helmet of Grand Duke Alexander Nevsky. Inside, the walls are decorated with murals and mosaics depicting scenes of the most important battles in Russian history. The main icon is the "Savior Made with Hands". The kiosks and iconostasis are made of copper with enamels like on military icons. The temple is a spiritual symbol of Russia, which celebrates the victory of life over death.
