Belfry arch with carillon
Description
* The musical and sculptural creation in the form of an Arch-belfry was opened for the anniversary of St. Petersburg in the early 2000s. The author of the project is architect Igor Gunst. The structure consists of forty-five bells, most of which are electronically controlled. The height is twenty-seven meters, representing the exposition on three levels-floors, where there are several bells on the balconies. The idea of the creation was to play a variety of music in the Primorsky Victory Park, on the territory of which it is located.
