* Alexandreio Melatron is an indoor sports arena in Thessaloniki, Greece, used for basketball and volleyball. The main hall accommodates 5,138 permanent and 6,000 temporary spectators. The arena also has a training ground, club offices, shops and the Aris Basketball Club museum. The arena hosts the home matches of Aris Thessaloniki and other clubs. It is located in the city center, near the bus lines and the metro station "Panepistimio". Construction began in the 1960s and was renovated in 2004 and 2015. The arena is named after Alexander the Great and is the first large indoor basketball arena in Greece.
