The main volume of the building is made in the form of a Greek equi–pointed cross. The cathedral is three-nave. The western facade is crowned with two identical towers that end in domes. The towers are connected by a closed gallery, previously there was a clock under it. The main focus is on the massive niche portal, which is decorated with Georgian majolica and a large cross.
