Church of the Chernihiv Icon of the Mother of God
Description
* A small brick church built in honor of the marriage of Nicholas II and Alexandra Feodorovna, mainly at the expense of peasants D. and I. Prokofiev. This building with a refectory and a bell tower, decorated in an eclectic Russian style. It was probably consecrated in 1900. It belonged to Argunovsky parish, but became an independent parish in 1908. It was closed in the late 1930s and was used for household needs, and then was abandoned. In the 1990s, the community was restored, and in 2003 it was reunited with the Russian Orthodox Church. The church was completely restored, and the consecration ceremony took place on February 12, 2017.
