Shimanovsky House
Description
* The Shimanovsky House is located at the intersection of Italiansky Lane and Frunze Street. The one-story corner building was built in 1850. There were three windows facing Frunze Street, and two more facing Italianate Lane. Until 1900, the house was owned by the Sychev family of merchants, and then passed to the gynecologist Shimanovsky. Under his name, the building has survived to the present day. The mansion was surrounded by a large garden, and commercial and commercial outbuildings were built. In 1914, the building was modernized and expanded. Elements of Russian Art Nouveau were added to the red brick facade. The floors were covered with parquet, and the ceilings were decorated with cornices. Initially, the house had two entrances. Later, the corner entrance was laid without losing the historical brick decoration.
