The Tsar Bell

* The Tsar Bell landmark is located on the territory of the Cathedral Square of the Moscow Kremlin. The bell was made in 1733 under Tsarina Anna Ioannovna in honor of the memory of her reign. Its mass is more than 200 tons, and its height is more than 6 meters. The bell was made of copper and tin. During the fire, the bell structure was severely damaged, a fragment weighing over 11 tons was broken off. The bell was taken out a hundred years later and the foundation for the bell was organized, which became a memorable and historical sculpture of Russia. The bell is decorated with religious images of saints, and the history of the bell is also described. After the monument was erected, a gilded cross was placed on top of the bell.
