Baikal Datsan
Description
* The Darzhalin Dam datsan was opened on July 22, 2017 near the village of Dulan on the shore of Lake Baikal. The first Buddhist temple in the Kabansky district of Buryatia. According to the plan of the outstanding Buddhist teacher Agvan Zhamtso bagshi, granite statues of eight great Nagas dedicated to the lords of the water element were installed in this place. Baikal datsan is a place of strength, faith and peace. Unusual multicolored buildings with upturned roof corners create a sense of the east. The peculiarity of the datsan on Lake Baikal is that it is built of wood, not stone.
