* There are almost no places left in the world where people would lead a traditional way of life. The very traditional one that developed many centuries and even millennia ago. As a rule, these are usually nomadic peoples. And among them, some of the most prominent representatives are reindeer herders of Yamal. We invite you to the mountains or foothills of the Polar Urals, where the Nenets come only in winter. In summer, they roam the tundra much further north, closer to the Kara Sea. But in winter, it is easier for deer to forage on the slopes of mountains, from which the wind blows snow. The key city here is Salekhard. We usually arrive at the Nenets on the day of arrival in Salekhard. That means we'll have four nights in the plague. But on the way back, we will also need to spend the night in Salekhard before flying back. It is not very clear what the living conditions in the plagues are. There's no toilet here, or rather it's all happening somewhere in the bushes. It doesn't matter what the temperature is outside. And there's nowhere to wash here either. Although a washbasin usually hangs in the plague. The apartment may even be hot if the stove is heated. But they don't heat the stove at night, and by morning it can be very fresh, to put it mildly. For overnight stays in chums, you must bring a warm sleeping bag with you. Usually the owners feed us here, but the diet is very simple. Everything is based on a meat-based diet. Boiled meat, most often with pasta or raw meat, that is, stroganina. If this is unacceptable to you, then you need to take care in advance and bring the necessary products with you. But it's not customary to cook on your own here. Reindeer herders are real nomads, this is their way of life and they are not adapted to tourism. And our presence is a common intrusion into their lives. Yes, we will pay money for the opportunity to stay in the camp, observe their lives, and take pictures. But this does not mean that you can do everything as you need to. The locals believe that they have been given shelter and food and even the opportunity to rent, and that is where their obligations are exhausted, and they have the right to go about their business and not be distracted by the guests.
