In five days we will visit: Chuisky tract, Katun, Martian landscapes, Geyser Lake, Chemal and many other attractions.
The route is without tents and backpacks! Accommodation in comfortable cabins! Suitable for people with any physical fitness! Recommended for children from 7 years old! Groups of 7 to 15 people.

Along the Chuisky highway. By car 600 km.

Meeting of guests: at 7:00 Barnaul airport; 7:30 Barnaul car and railway station; 8:00 near the Passage shopping center (Barnaul ave. Lenin, 2B).
12:00 Gorno-Altaysk airport (guests arriving in Gorno-Altaysk do not get on excursions to the village of Srostki and the steles of the Altai Republic).
First, we will visit the homeland of the Soviet film director, actor and writer V.M. Shukshin — in the village of Srostki, where we will climb the mountain. Picket line. From here there is a view of Katun and we will see the first mountain, Babyrgan. You can use it to determine the weather, and the mountain itself is the center of magnetism!
The next stop is a whole complex of monuments symbolizing the national flavor, history and vital activity of the Altai people.
After lunch, we walk away from Katun and move to the Chike Taman pass, where the views from the observation decks are breathtaking. The cliffs, cliffs and mountain serpentine roads leave an indelible impression of this place.
Yes, we really have an eventful day today, we will visit the sacred place of CHUI-OOZI, learn the history of the Chui highway and the first drivers who drove along it – this will be the monument to Kolka Snegirev stop. In the evening we arrive at the base in the village of Chibit and prepare for tomorrow!
day 02
Mars, glaciers, and a hidden lake. By car 200 km.

In the morning we will stop at the colorful Geyser Lake, which is hidden in the forest. It's Blue, Silver, Geyser – there are many names, but the lake is one. Blue clay has painted the bottom with bizarre shapes and they are constantly changing at the moment when the underground springs begin to beat! Many legends are associated with this place, they say that the water here does not freeze in winter!
We will drive to the Kurai steppe and admire the Aktru glaciers, which rise more than 4,000 meters! Here is a "mecca" for climbers, dozens of routes and passes, the kingdom of ice and snow. And on the deserted surface in front of the mountain range, you can see the giant ripples of the current, the largest in the world!
Let's visit Altai Mars with you! These mountains have been hidden under the water column for millions of years, being part of the relict Chuya Lake, but now we can observe them. They consist of hundreds of geological strata, painted in variegated colors, from yellow and green to red and burgundy.
We will also have an exciting walk to MARS 2 (the route takes 2 hours, about 6 km without significant altitude gain). The path will lead us along the river, where vegetation is only sparse shrubs and bizarrely shaped trees. The soil is cracked everywhere, traces of erosion and unearthly landscapes are the beginning of the Chuya steppe.
day 03
Passes and rapids. By car 260 km.

Today we will continue our journey along the Chuisky highway. This road is one of the most picturesque in Russia.: alluring mountains, swirling rivers, snowy peaks merging with clouds — in such a place you want to take a million photos and still it seems that there are not enough frames!
Let's look at the stone stele of the Bronze Age and get acquainted with the history of the Scythians in the sanctuary of ADYR-KAN. There are hundreds of petroglyphs on the sheer cliff, made by an archaic painting technique several thousand years ago.
We will discover an unusual sight – the Katun river terraces. Platforms of various widths leveled by nature form huge steps, some of them are more than 100 meters above the river level.
Let's stop at the threshold of Ilgumen – the power of the water element in all its glory. It is a fascinating sight beyond words. You can watch the swirling stream for hours, as the Katun accelerates its movement and huge waves soar upward.
Then we move to the Seminsky pass. The ascent begins and soon we will be at an altitude of 1717 meters! Here, the kingdom of cedars is a unique place in Altai, where you can touch these amazing trees!
In the evening, we will check into a cozy base in the Chemalsky district and we will be able to relax after the road.
day 04
Rock island, Valley of spirits and Altai honey. By car 100 km.

Guided tour of the gorge of mountain spirits – a place of strength for the Altai people. We will visit the stream of health, a waterfall, and an observation deck with stunning views of the Katun River Valley. We will see a cave and rock carvings, which reflect the life and history of the Scythians.
We will reach the Orokto bridge over the gorge, where the Katun River is squeezed between the rocks and here its deepest place is more than 70 meters!!!
Next, an excursion to Patmos. We will walk over the suspension bridge to the rocky island, which is located in the middle of a mountain river. An active temple has been built here, and you can visit it. And the Chemalskaya hydroelectric power station is located nearby, now it is not operating, but it looks very impressive. The road to the hydroelectric power station is also interesting, we will follow the "goat" path in the mountains along the Katun River.
And after a busy day, we will stop at the apiary, where we will be given an excursion and we can participate in a tasting of Altai honey!
day 05
Rivers and Caves. By car 400 km.

Today we will see the Dragon's Teeth. Stone fangs stick out right in the middle of the river. You can get closer to them by using a wooden bridge that rests on the rocks.
Then we will go to the Tavda caves, there are a whole complex of them – more than 30 pieces, they form a complex system, connecting with each other by cross passages. We will visit the center of the complex – the Bolshaya Tavdinskaya cave. Here you can meet the guardian, the shape of an eagle and the parking lot of ancient people. Stone tunnels and a magnificent bird's-eye view are waiting for us!
We will walk through the pine forest and see the monument to the artist and philosopher Nicholas Roerich. There is also the Ichthyander grotto and several observation decks with extensive views of the Katun River.
We will return to Barnaul around 18:00, our guides will tell you where to go and what to do in the city. If you are leaving Gorno-Altaysk, we will pick you up earlier, around 14:00.
