Our journey takes us to the Nevelsky district, to the South of the Pskov region, to Pskov Burgundy, the capital of Escargot, where the ESCARGOT DOOR family farm is located on the shores of Lake Maly Ivan, where they collect and process one of the main symbols of French cuisine — Burgundy snails. Every second snail served in restaurants in France comes from the Pskov region and this is no joke. The Pskov outback is the main habitat of the wild, grape snail. We will visit the farm, where we will learn the details of snail farming, cooking techniques, and taste the world-famous dish prepared and served to you by Chef escargot Alexei Korochkin and his wife Natalia. A serving of 6 hot Snails in Burgundy sauce with Chablis wine with a baguette and a glass of wine. You will also hear a story about the life of these unique animals, about the traditions and secrets of their processing and cooking, the recipe of dishes, and of course, you will have the opportunity to purchase them frozen at home. But our program would not be complete without another equally interesting place — the Olenya Gora Eco-club among the centuries-old forest on the lake shore, where we will admire the wonderful winter landscapes and be able to feed deer, roe deer, donkeys, observe grouse and other animals living on the farm.
