* This fascinating snowmobile safari in the eastern Altai will not leave you indifferent. The tour covers all the delights of Altai – mountains, passes, lakes.
The Karakol Lakes are one of the most attractive places in the Altai Mountains. The lakes are located in the upper reaches of the Karakol River (a tributary of the Elekmonar River) in the pre-alpine part of the western slope of the Ilozhe range. The absolute height of the lowest of the lakes is 1820 m, and the highest is 2097 m. The Karakol Lakes are a system of seven lakes interconnected by channels and streams and having different water colors. And all this is possible to see with your own eyes. Modern equipment and our instructors will guide you along this route.
On the route, tourists live at the Karakol Lakes base in warm houses (stove heating, accommodation in 4-6 local rooms, outdoor toilet, it is possible to order a sauna).
Snowmobile equipment is used on the route.
Features: the route does not require any special physical training. A tourist should be ready for physical exertion, not be afraid of hiking conditions and the adversities of the weather.
Deposit (refunded after the route) — 30,000 rubles. It is necessary to leave a deposit for the snowmobile, after the tour this amount will be refunded.

day 01
Arrival at the Karakol lakes (snowmobile 35 km).
Type of accommodation:Camping
Meeting in Barnaul/ Gorno-Altaysk. Transfer to the office of the travel agency (250/5 km) and further to the village of Ulala (by minibus 50 km). Preparation for the route: safety and snowmobile management instruction. Next comes the departure to the route, gradually gaining altitude, deciduous trees and shrubs give way to a mighty cedar, we descend to the Karakol lakes.
Accommodation in the cedar house (35 km snowmobile). The campsite is located on the largest, fifth lake.
day 02
Radial exit to Karakokshinskaya cave (70 km snowmobile).
Type of accommodation:Camping
The first test is climbing the Bagatash pass (translated from Altai as "stone frog", 2113 m). From the top there is a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains. A little more and you will see piles of stone blocks – these are "Castles of Mountain Spirits", which actually resemble an ancient medieval castle from afar. Such a creation of nature is covered with numerous legends.
On this day, two more passes await you – Ak-kaya and Airyk. If the weather is good, you can take great pictures. From the pass, the trail descends into the Ayryk tract, and you find yourself in the realm of cedar forests.
Karakokshinskaya cave is one of the highest caves in Altai. The name of the cave comes from the name of the Karakoksha River, located in the rocky limestone massif of the Ilozhda range. The cave is characterized by a rare underground karst form, combining a large extent and the highest hypsometric position (position above sea level) in the Northeastern Altai. Inspection of the cave. Radial exit to Lake Veronica.

Skiing on high-altitude plateaus with a fascinating view of the peaks of the mountain ranges.
Lake Veronica is a small alpine lake shaped like an irregular figure eight when viewed from above. The lake is located on the other side of the Ilozhd ridge, which belongs to the Choy district, and on the other side of the ridge is the Chemalsky district. A small river flows from Lake Veronica, which flows into the Ugul River, which carries its waters into the Biya River. The lake is located in a bowl surrounded on three sides by low mountains. Return to the house (45 km snowmobile).
day 04
The final day.
Type of accommodation:Camping
Today is the final day. We are driving along the already familiar road along the Kylai mane, through the Karatash pass, towards the village of Ulala. Cedars give way to deciduous forest and low-growing shrubs. After lunch, we go down to the place where the car is already waiting for us. Transfer to the office of the company, and further to Barnaul/ Gorno-Altaysk*.
* Departure to Gorno-Altaysk airport on the 5th day of the tour at 6:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. It is necessary to book a hotel for one night (from 4th to 5th day). The cost of staying at the hotel is not included in the price of the tour.

* Please provide information in advance about the transport by which you arrive in Barnaul/Gorno-Altaysk (flight number, arrival time or train number). * Gorno-Altaysk. At the end of the tour, our transfer will take you to Barnaul airport or train station on the same day. Those who depart from Gorno-Altaysk the next day, after the tour, need to take care of the overnight stay in advance and book a hotel room. This accommodation is not included in the price of the tour. In the morning, our shuttle service will take you to the airport at the right time.Cancellation policy

The company has the right to cancel the contract if the minimum number of tourists in the group is not reached.
