* Goynuk Canyon is located in the national park of the same name and is a gorge about 6 meters wide (sometimes more, sometimes less) and up to 350 meters high. Its walls are made of multicolored rock. There is a picturesque lake right next to the entrance, as well as a small cafe and picnic areas. This is very important after a strenuous walk through the canyon. Then the mountain road winds along the river. This canyon is unique in that you can walk right along its bottom. All the equipment — a life jacket, "aquashoos" (special silicone shoes so that it doesn't hurt to walk on the sharp rocks of the bottom) and a helmet — must be rented here. Tourists will not be allowed to continue without equipment. This is the most exciting part of the journey. The path runs along the river in the narrowest parts of the canyon. In some places, you can reach the walls with your arms outstretched. The end of the route is near a waterfall where you can swim. The route itself takes 1 hour and is suitable for people with average physical fitness. Also, if you wish, you can simply come to the canyon and admire its views, relaxing in a local cafe, without going through the route.
