* We invite you to a classic five-day hiking trip along one of the most picturesque routes of Adygea and Krasnodar Territory, which attracts hundreds of tourists from all over the country every year and is the hallmark of tourism in Mostovsky district.
Climbing to the peaks of the mountains:
- Big Thach 2,368.4 m.
- Asbestos 2285 m .
- Acheshbok Vostochny 2440 m.
And also, with a visit to the longest stalactite cave of the Thach massif - Ambitsukova cave, 560 m.) and the best viewing platforms on the ridges.:
- Agige.

- Red rock.
- Small Bambaks.
The Big Thach (adyg. Thyeshchi is a mountain range on the watershed of the Malaya Laba and Belaya rivers, located in the Western Caucasus, on the border of the Republic of Adygea and the Krasnodar Territory. A part of the mountain range located on the territory of the Republic of Adygea is part of the Bolshoy Thach Nature Park, which was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1999.
The Maly Bambak ridge, stretching from west to east, borders on the left side with the Agige ridge, the main decoration of which is the wall-shaped Sunduki mountain (2200 m). In its central part, it almost closely approaches the border of the Caucasian Biosphere Reserve, on the territory of which the plateau-shaped Skirda ridge (2,407 m) and Tru Mountain (2,388 m) are visible. Below lies the left side of the Urushten river valley, densely overgrown with centuries-old fir and beech forests. And far to the west, the peaks of the Forward Ridge are visible, led by the "horned" mountains Bolshoy and Maly Thachi (2,368 m).
There is accommodation in tents on the route. If you don't have your own tent, sleeping bag, or rug, you can rent it from us.

Day of arrival
Type of accommodation:Tent
Only for participants arriving at the airport/railway station in Mineralnye Vody.
Arrival of the group in Mineralnye Vody. Meeting at the airport / train station, transfer by comfortable bus from Mineralnye Vody to Mostovskaya village (3.5 hours, 260 km) and check-in at the hotel. It is possible to relax in the thermal pools. Overnight at the hotel.
Early in the morning, the gathering of all participants in P.Transshipment. We change into hiking clothes, drink tea and load into the SUV. The distance to the site of the first camp and the beginning of the walking part of the route is about 20 km. with an altitude of 1200 m, we will overcome by off-road transport (GAZ66, UAZ).
This is a day of acclimatization, light walking and radial routes (optional), such as the first day in the mountains should be. We won't have to pack a backpack at all on this day. We begin the ascent at the beginning along the forest road, and then along the picturesque Maly Bambak ridge to Chai Mountain in its western part. Already on the way from the car, views of the majestic Skirda ridge and the deep gorge of the Urushten River will gradually open up. The stunning scale of the panoramas of the Red and Dead Rocks, the snow-white peaks of hr.The jugas, jagged like a dragon's tail, will definitely not leave anyone indifferent.
And, of course, we have planned stops for walks and photo shoots at the most beautiful viewing platforms of the Malye Bambaki ridge. There are many more interesting things waiting for us on this day.
Immediately upon arrival at the first parking place, we will set up a tent camp.
Then, taking a small snack, water and a raincoat with us, we will make a light radial hike.
Upon return, dinner and rest at a pre-determined camp.
day 02
Type of accommodation:Tent
For us, this is the first day under a backpack and the approximate distance along the route will be 9.5 km. with max. set up to 500 m. After breakfast, we check the equipment and get on the route. This route is rightfully considered the hallmark of tourism in Mostovsky district and we will be accompanied by magnificent views of the Caucasus Mountains all day long.
The trail mainly passes through green Alpine meadows, flowering grasses and rhododendrons. In places, the soil can be very wet and therefore good trekking shoes and shoe covers are needed for walking on wet grass (they are also flashlights, gaiters). Climbing the trail along the Agige ridge, we will cross it at a place called "Devil's Gate" and then, admiring the circular panorama of the mountains, from the place "Devil's Window" we will begin our ascent to its highest point - the peak of Acheshbok Vostochny 2440 m.
The overnight stay is planned on the saddle between the peaks of Acheshbok West and East.
day 03
Type of accommodation:Tent
The crossing is 9 km. with max. set up to 300m. After breakfast, we assemble the camp and set off on the route. After passing through the pass called "Devil's Gate", the trail leads us to the Front Ridge, which is known among tourists for its sunrises and sunsets of rare beauty.
We will make a stop under Mount Asbestnaya and those who wish will be able to climb to its top, from where beautiful views of the surrounding mountains open. You can simultaneously enjoy the views of Acheshboki (Devil's Gate) and Bolshoy Thach, since the city of Asbestnaya is located approximately in the middle of the way between them.
After a short lunch, we will go around the town of Maly Thach and set up tents in the parking lot under the top of Bolshoy Thach. If the weather is clear and there is time, we will climb to the top of Bolshoy Thach.
After the descent, we have dinner and rest.
day 04
Type of accommodation:Tent
It's going to be a simple but very interesting day and a short 3km walk. After breakfast, if the weather is good, we will climb Bolshoy Thach (if we didn't do it yesterday).
Then we assemble the camp and follow the trail around B.Thacha to the place of the next overnight stay in Sokolov's glade. From there, after setting up camp and having a short lunch, we will embark on a 5km radial hike to the Robbers Cave, the longest cave in the Thach massif, Ambitsukov's stalktite cave (560m). On the way we will visit the beautiful canyon of the Khodz river and the Dangerous rock.
Upon return, dinner, a final evening around the campfire and rest.
day 05
Type of accommodation:Not included
The crossing is 6.5 km. to the drop-off point from the walking route to Baronov Polyany. In the morning, after breakfast, we slowly assemble the camp, wipe away our parting tears, promise Thach to return soon and move towards the house. The trail passes through a beautiful beech forest with a slight drop in height. We will make a stop at the fork of the trails at the interesting Fortress rock and then go out to Baronov Glades, where we will transfer to an off-road vehicle to continue our journey to the final point of our route in the village of Uzlovoe.
A bus will be waiting for the group departing from Minvody, which will take it to the airport/train station. The journey time is 3.5 hours, 260 km.
