Our first stop is the small hydroelectric power plants of Dagestan, Gunibskaya and Gergebilskaya HPPs, located on the Karakoysu River. They fit extremely picturesquely into the surrounding mountain landscape. Gergebilskaya HPP is the oldest in Dagestan and one of the oldest in Russia. The historical and architectural complex Andal (Andalal) is located on the territory of the Gunibskaya HPP named after Rasul Gamzatov. This is a traditional mountain fighting tower, which you can climb and explore the surroundings. Here you will discover picturesque views of gorges, rivers and reservoirs. Next, you will climb to Gamsutl. High in the mountains, hidden behind many canyons and gorges, there is a ghost village at the top of the mountain. It is a mountainous village with a 2,000-year history. There are inaccessible mountains all around and the only narrow path to the village itself. It is possible to drive part of the way in local cars (UAZ), and then there is an ascent that will need to be overcome on foot. An unforgettable view of the surroundings opens from every corner of the village. Here you can take breathtaking atmospheric pictures and get an unforgettable experience. There will be an equally interesting stop along the way - Chokh Terraces. The beautiful landscape of the Chokha mountain slopes impresses with its beauty and harmony with the surrounding nature. This unique architectural complex is one of the most significant cultural monuments in Dagestan. Saltinskaya gorge. The winding gorge is an active natural monument of our region.
