* You have arrived in the Danish kingdom, where there are still kings and queens, princes and princesses. The current Queen Margrethe II has been on the Danish throne since 1972. She is related to all the current royal houses in Europe and can trace her family tree back more than 1,000 years, making the Danish royal family one of the oldest in the world. Our plans include finding out what the Danish monarchy is like, what the Danish kings of the past were like and what they are like now. For all this, we have 4 days of traveling to palaces and castles both in Copenhagen and in its surroundings. Our Russian-speaking driver will meet you at the airport, take you to the hotel and help you check in. After that, we will go on a sightseeing tour of Copenhagen by car, during which we will visit and see the central, historical and tourist parts of the city, find out who Queen Margrethe II is, under what circumstances she became queen, what is the Danish monarchy today, what were the Danish kings of the past, who can be considered the most popular king of all time. The next day will be dedicated to three famous royal castles: Rosenborg, Amalienborg and Christiansborg. Three different architectural styles, three different historical eras, and most importantly, all three castles are directly related to the modern Danish monarchy. The next two days will be devoted to walks through the ancient city of Helsingør and the royal tombs in Roskilde, Kronborg Castle and Shakespeare's tragedy Hamlet, as well as the Museum of National History in Frederiksborg Castle, where we will trace the history of Denmark from its very origins to the present day. We will talk about the pirate king, Shakespeare, Hamlet, find out who united all of Denmark into a single kingdom, who was called King Builder, who Peter I visited, which Danish king's daughter became the wife of Russian Tsar Alexander III. You definitely won't be bored, because you just won't have the time.
